Bac Lieu has a 56-kilometre coastline, with windy weather and an annual sunshine duration of about 2,200 to 2,700 hours. Taking advantage of this geographical feature, our project aims to generate clean energy in the Dong Hai district through wind turbines. It aims to foster more than 60 long-term jobs in the region.
The project aims to supply an annual power of 199,750 MWh to the national grid. With an installed capacity of 50 MW, this project is an offshore wind power plant in Bac Lieu province of Viet Nam.
It aligns with three Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 7 Affordable & Clean Energy, SDG 8 Decent Work & Economic Growth and SDG 13 Climate Action.
