The northern province of Viet Nam, Hà Giang, sits on the Lô river. The hydropower project uses the natural water flow cycle as a sustainable energy source. It has an installed capacity of 24MW ans and an estimated annual gross power generation of 79,990 MWh.
The project provides rural jobs boosting local economic growth. The project’s primary purpose is to generate hydroelectricity from clean and renewable sources to supply to the national grid, which thermal/fossil fuel-based power plants dominate.
